From Facebook Lead Ad to Customer Follow-up with WebPlatform

A lead should not disappear into a spreadsheet after someone submits a Facebook or Instagram form. WebPlatform Lead Engine connects the capture, qualification, review, and follow-up stages so a merchant can move from a new enquiry to an organised customer conversation.

The complete customer journey

  1. The customer sees your Meta ad. They open the Facebook or Instagram Instant Form and submit the contact details and consent requested by your business.
  2. Meta sends the lead securely to WebPlatform. The central WebPlatform Meta integration receives the signed webhook and identifies the merchant from the Facebook Page assignment.
  3. The lead stays inside the correct merchant account. WebPlatform stores the enquiry only in that merchant's tenant database. Another merchant cannot see or search it.
  4. Lead Engine prepares the record. The captured name, email, phone, Page, form, campaign context, capture time, and source are normalised into one lead record.
  5. ICP and scoring organise attention. When an Ideal Customer Profile is available, the pipeline records qualification and scoring context so teams can prioritise the best-fit enquiries.
  6. The merchant reviews the lead. In Find Leads, choose Facebook / Instagram Lead Ads. Captured leads show their source, contact information, score, and an Already in Lead Engine status.
  7. Open the full lead. Select View Lead to review contact details, source, score, AI context, and conversation history without creating a duplicate record.
  8. Plan the next action. Use content planning and scheduling for campaign activity, or move an eligible lead into WebPlatform email or WhatsApp outreach according to consent and channel availability.
  9. Measure results. Dashboard and Analytics help the merchant review lead volume, quality, activity, and follow-up performance.

How a merchant starts

  1. Open Lead Engine → Integrations.
  2. Choose Continue or Reconnect with Facebook.
  3. Grant the requested business and Page permissions.
  4. Select the Facebook Page that owns the Instant Form.
  5. Confirm the integration shows Connected.
  6. Publish or use an active Meta Instant Form for that Page.
  7. Open Find Leads and select Facebook / Instagram Lead Ads.

What customers should expect

Submitting a form does not automatically send marketing messages. It creates a lead record for review. Merchants remain responsible for the form wording, privacy notice, consent, audience selection, and lawful follow-up. Email and WhatsApp actions should follow the consent captured for each channel.

Why Facebook behaves differently from LinkedIn, Dripify, or Google

LinkedIn, Dripify, Expandi, Google Business, and AI options can discover new prospects. Facebook Lead Ads is a captured-lead source: it displays people who already submitted your Meta form. WebPlatform therefore marks these records as already saved and provides View Lead instead of importing them again.

A simple operating routine

  • Review new Facebook leads daily.
  • Check contact data and consent before outreach.
  • Use ICP score and context to prioritise follow-up.
  • Record the next action and avoid duplicate contact.
  • Review Analytics weekly to improve forms, campaigns, and response time.
